Location

The Sabi Sand is arguably a safari experience like no other in the world. Sharing an unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park, the reserve benefits from a great diversity of wildlife – although it is particularly well known for its prolific leopard sightings.

KIRKMAN’S KAMP

Located high on a ridge of the world-famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve, overlooking the magnificent Sand River, lies Kirkmans Kamp.

Game drives traverse an area of 10 500 hectares (26 000 acres) and strict vehicle limits at sightings ensure the exclusivity of an up-close game viewing experience.

A library offers a sanctuary filled with interesting reads, while the classical sitting room provides the ultimate setting to enjoy a pre-dinner drink. Immersed in the bushscape is a rim-flow swimming pool with views of the Sand River. Delectable tea is served on the rolling lawn, and breakfast and lunch are served on shady verandas. Dinner is delightful affair, where mouth-watering Pan-African menus can be enjoyed in a boma or candlelit bush setting.
